General Questions

The Wendover Homeowners Association (HOA) is a non-profit organization established to maintain, preserve, and enhance our community in Bedford, Texas. Our association is responsible for managing common areas, enforcing community standards, and fostering a sense of community among residents.

The HOA is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors elected by homeowners at the annual meeting. The board typically consists of a President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and additional board members. These individuals are homeowners who volunteer their time to serve the community.

The board meets every two months on a Tuesday at 6:30 PM. The Annual Meeting is held each May, where we elect board members and discuss community business. Meeting minutes are published on the website after approval.

Dues and Assessments

Annual HOA dues are currently $540 per year. These dues help fund common area maintenance, landscaping, community events, administrative costs, and contributions to our reserve fund.

Annual dues are payable in May of each year. Invoices are mailed out mid-April. Payment is due by May 31st. Late payments are subject to late fees and interest as outlined in our governing documents.

We offer several payment options:

  • Zelle Transfer

For more information about payment options, please contact our treasurer at treasurer@wendoverhoa.org.

Community Rules and Regulations

Our community is governed by several documents:

  • Declaration of Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions (CC&Rs)
  • Bylaws
  • Rules and Regulations
  • Architectural Guidelines

Any exterior modifications to your home or property require prior approval from the Architectural Review Committee (ARC). This includes, but is not limited to, painting, landscaping changes, additions, fences, and structural modifications.

To request approval:
  1. Complete an Architectural Review Application (available in the Documents section)
  2. Include all required documentation (plans, specifications, color samples, etc.)
  3. Submit your application to acc@wendoverhoa.org

The committee typically reviews applications within 30 days of receipt.

The HOA follows a violation process that typically includes:

Step Action
1 Courtesy notice informing you of the violation and requesting correction
2 Formal violation notice if the issue is not corrected within the specified timeframe
3 Hearing notice inviting you to discuss the violation with the board
4 Fines may be assessed for continued non-compliance

Our goal is always to work with homeowners to resolve issues amicably. If you receive a violation notice, please contact us promptly to discuss the situation.
